in the breath of the labyrinth

the series is made of 41 black and white silver prints

"in the breath of the labyrinth" is the second of this triptych.
It takes its origin from a missing image that appeared after the previous work.
This image, partly photographed again, has generated the three series that compose it.

Over four generations it is the crossing of an exile history, of border crossings,
of family past that comes back even if I have not lived it personally,
but of which I carry traces, bursts of emotions,
and an underlying violence linked to History.

It is about Italy, the native country of these family migrations,
and Germany and France, that become in turn my two countries of exile.
